FORCED ARMING
(as a standard user)
With forced arming, open zones are automatically inhibited during arming. Because the zones to be inhibited
have not been specified in advance, this option should only be used when absolutely necessary. As a
standard user you can use forced arming during arming, provided this has been enabled by the installer.
Zones which cannot be inhibited via the ‘Inhibit’ menu cannot be inhibited now and will block arming.
Because the system is split, you can select one or more areas from the available security areas.
1. Go to the keypad. The current status of the areas is shown
in the display.

2. Press the 0 key and then enter your code.

A ‘*’ appears in the display for every key you press. Use the
0 key to cancel an incorrect entry

3. To arm area 1, enter ‘1’.

The system begins arming, ...

... but there are still open zones, which the system indicates
here.
Open Zone(s)
In this case, zone 3 in the hall is not closed. This can be
inhibited.

4. After entering ‘áá‘ the message ‘Inhibit Zone_’ appears.

5. Now enter ‘áá’ again to effect a forced arm.

The system will now begin a forced arm.
If you are not allowed to use forced arm, the message ‘Not
Authorised’ appears.
Forced Arm
The beeper begins to beep. This means that the exit time is
starting

Area 1 begins to arm.
You can now leave the secured area.

Area 1 is now force armed.
The current status of the areas appears automatically.
